Gator Concrete & Masonry provided structural concrete and masonry scope on this 1,200 SF waterfront facility for the City of Dunedin, a new home for the Dunedin Youth Sailing Association constructed at the edge of an active marina, surrounded by water on three sides.

Our scope included cast-in-place concrete, grade beams, and CMU wall construction.

Challenges & Execution

This site demanded a higher level of coordination than a typical foundation package. Working within the footprint of an active marina, bordered by boat slips, open water, and existing marine infrastructure. Every phase of concrete and masonry work required careful sequencing and constant adaptation.

Seawall proximity, persistent water intrusion, and severely restricted access shaped how we approached each pour and wall lift from the ground up. Dewatering, staging, and delivery logistics all had to work in concert to keep the work moving safely and on schedule.

The result is a structurally sound, finished building delivered on a site that left very little margin for error.

Let’s Talk About Your Project
